Halloween is my Favorite Holiday
October in Southern Arizona is the best time of the year. The weather is perfect, crisp fall nights, warm temperatures during the day. It is also the time of the year that the snow birds arrive. I am looking forward to seeing some of my favorite patients return from their northern homes.
When I was a kid, I loved Halloween. It was the one time I could become anything I wanted to be, within reason. I remember one of the first costumes I got to pick out. I was a ballerina. We borrowed the costume, it was a bit small, but I loved it! I love dressing up and being someone else for a night. It might be part of the reason I live in Tombstone.
One weekend a month, the town pulls out all the stops and celebrates the Old West with a town full of people who are dressed like they just time traveled from the 1880s. Last weekend was Helldorado. What was once known as Frontier Days, it has been a Tombstone tradition since 1929, almost 100 years.

This year we will be celebrating Halloween at Veteran's Park in Sierra Vista. We will be set up with a small booth. Anna, Connie, Erik and I will have a little game the kids can win candy and prizes at. Come out and say Hi! We would love to see you.
